JUN have got their hands on the new Mitsubishi Evolution X and have only lightly modified the car, however the results that the yellow missile have already displayed are astonishing to say the least.
The car is only said to be the entry-level RS 5-speed, and being simply modified with an HKS F-CON V Pro engine management system, Trust air intake and exhaust, Advan RGs wrapped in some high-performance rubber and Endless cilovers and brakes on all four corners of the car, yet is performing at the level of the new R35 GT-R around the Tsukuba track already.
Being driven by Nobu Taniguchi, JUN’s lightly modified EVo has recorded a time of 1:01.638 around Tsukuba, beating the stock time of the car by almost five seconds. Already this is astonishing, but I’m almost speechless wondering what the hell this car is capable of with some really hardcore modifications thrown at it.
