We first told you about the HKS prepped 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X last fall when the Japanese tuning company released a teaser shot of the car. Now, HKS has announced details on its tuning package for the new EVO X. Depending on how far you’re willing to push your hand in your pocket, HKS offers a series of mechanical and styling upgrades for the EVO X with the most important being of course the power kit.
With the HKS engine pack that includes an uprated turbo, a new intake manifold, and a modified engine control unit, the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine’s output rises from 286 PS at 7.020 rpm to 383.2 PS at 6.230 rpm while torque goes from stock 44.9 kgm at 4.040 rpm to 48.9 kgm at 4.360 rpm.
Other mods include a chassis upgrade kit with new suspension parts and a lower ride height combined with 19-inch Advan Racing RZ alloy wheels wrapped in 265/30R19 Advan tires. As for the styling package, it consists of an aerodynamic bodykit along with carbon fiber mirror caps, hood scoop, side protectors and front apron.
